Project Manager – Civil Construction

A well-established civil construction contractor based in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and oversee the delivery of subdivision and infrastructure projects across South Australia.

This is an opportunity to work with a respected contractor that has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality civil works for developers, councils, and utility providers.

The Role As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing civil construction projects from planning through to completion. You will play a key role in coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage civil construction projects from planning through to delivery and handover
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance against key milestones
• Oversee civil works including earthworks, drainage, sewer, water, roadworks, and related infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, and key stakeholders
• Prepare and manage project documentation, reporting, and project controls

About You To be successful in this role you will bring:

• Proven experience in civil construction project delivery
• Strong understanding of civil construction methodologies and site operations
• Experience working on subdivision or infrastructure projects
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple project stakeholders
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with projects within South Australia is advantageous
