Civil Project Manager

About the Role

You will provide onsite engineering services and technical support to ensure safety, environmental, design, and contractual requirements are met across a portfolio of projects. With a strong pipeline of work, this role offers long-term career growth within a high-performing, transparent, and accountable culture.

Projects include:

  • Land development – residential and industrial subdivisions
  • Water and sewer upgrades
  • Road infrastructure for local councils
  • Defence contracts

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver programming, staging, and construction methodologies effectively
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards
  • Manage team outputs across profitability, efficiency, and human relations
  • Lead monthly assessments and forecasts of project financial performance
  • Build strong relationships with clients and consultants
  • Maintain a safe working environment

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • 10 years’ experience in civil construction, including at least 2 years in project management
  • Experience in community infrastructure, earthworks, drainage, and road construction
  • Collaborative management style to build a close, outcome-focused team
  • Strong commercial acumen, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience in stakeholder and client engagement
  • Project and estimating experience highly regarded
  • Experience in developing and reviewing subcontractor work packages
