Project Engineer

The Position:

• Managing sub-contractors and coordinating works on site
• Ensuring site safety and environmental compliance
• Working closely with and building strong client relationships
• Cost control and planning
• Co-ordinating design and construction
• Maintain the procurement program and prepare procurement documentation
• Monitor and assist the Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer in meeting the projects set time frame
• Managing quality assurance to ensure the project runs to program, deliver a high-quality project with minimal reworks and contracts administration

Ideal Background:

• Bachelor level degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering (essential);
• Up to 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer within the road, rail and structures space (essential);
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Driven and enthusiastic with a positive, hands on attitude to project delivery;
