Project Engineer

About the Opportunity We’re partnering with a respected civil contractor delivering complex infrastructure projects across water, roads, and utilities. With a strong pipeline of upcoming and ongoing work in South Australia, they’re looking to bring on a
Project Engineer to support and drive delivery across multiple civil sites.

This role is suited to someone with at least 4 years of industry experience in civil infrastructure, ideally with exposure to site-based delivery, subcontractor management, or engineering support.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist in the planning and delivery of civil construction works
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Support project scheduling, procurement, and cost tracking
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal delivery teams
• Monitor and maintain safety, environmental, and quality standards on site
• Prepare reports, ITPs, and assist with project documentation and compliance

What You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (essential)
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the civil construction industry
• Exposure to infrastructure works such as road, water, or utilities projects
• Understanding of site operations and construction methodologies
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach
• Ability to work collaboratively with field teams and management
