If you’ve been running quality and compliance inside an insurance building, repairs, or restoration business and you’re ready to step up and own the function — this is the one to look at.
We’re partnering with a growing insurance building and restoration business to find their first dedicated Head of Compliance & Performance.
It’s a genuine step-up role: real influence, a clean mandate to build, and a leadership team that wants compliance and quality taken seriously rather than treated as a tick-box.
What you’d be doing
Compliance & quality
- Own and strengthen the compliance and quality framework across claims and building operations
- Run audits across claims, repairs, invoicing, and operational processes
- Keep the business aligned to insurer requirements, industry regulations, and internal standards
- Spot risks and non-conformances early, and turn them into improvements
Performance & reporting
- Track operational KPIs, insurer scorecards, and performance metrics
- Build the reporting and dashboards that give leadership a clear line of sight
- Monitor contractor, supplier, and internal team performance
Insurer & stakeholder relationships
- Be a trusted point of contact for insurers and assessors on compliance and service delivery
- Act as the escalation point when things need to be sorted properly
- Keep delivery aligned to client expectations and SLAs
Continuous improvement & people
- Drive practical improvements across claims and restoration workflows
- Lift quality outcomes and customer experience
- Bring the operational and compliance teams along with you
About you
You don’t need to already hold a “Head of” title — we’re genuinely open to a strong Compliance Manager, Quality Manager, or senior operational lead ready for their first leadership step. What matters more:
- Real experience inside insurance building, repairs, restoration, or claims
- A solid grip on compliance, auditing, claims processes, and operational performance
- You’ve worked with insurers, assessors, and regulated service environments
- You can build a report that tells a story, and have the conversations that come with it
- You lead by lifting standards, not just policing them
