SURVEYOR – CIVIL CONSTRUCTION

We’re looking for a skilled Surveyor who thrives on accuracy, problem-solving and working in the field to support major earthworks, roadworks, land development and infrastructure upgrades. If you’re driven, organised and enjoy seeing your work come to life on site, this role is for you.

The Role You will play a key part in delivering high-quality survey services across various civil construction projects. Working closely with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors and Machine Control Operators, you will ensure all survey tasks are completed safely, accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Set-out and as-built surveys for earthworks, roadworks and infrastructure
• Managing survey data, models and digital files
• Using GPS, total station and 3D machine control systems
• Maintaining accurate documentation and reports
• Providing technical support to site teams
• Ensuring work complies with design specifications, quality and safety standards

About You

• Degree or diploma in surveying, geomatics, spatial science or similar
• Experience in civil construction projects (roads, subdivisions, bulk earthworks, structures or utilities)
• Strong practical knowledge of GPS, total stations and survey software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly on site
• A positive safety mindset with a proactive approach
