Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction and restoration projects from commencement to completion
  • Determine appropriate construction methodologies from detailed scopes of work
  • Coordinate, engage and oversee trades throughout the restoration process
  • Monitor job progress and resolve issues as needed
  • Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders
  • Liaise between property owners, insurers and trades
  • Ensure compliance with OHS legislation and contractual requirements
  • Manage documentation, inspections and final sign-off
  • Coordinate property access and oversee multiple projects simultaneously
  • Travel regularly across Brisbane and surrounding areas

About You (Key Selection Criteria) Our client is seeking someone who is highly motivated, energetic and solutions-focused, with examples of initiative and the ability to think outside the box. The right candidate will have:

  • Carpentry/building trade background or relevant construction qualification
  • Insurance building experience (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, trades and stakeholders
  • High-level customer service capability with empathy for client needs
  • Knowledge of OHS legislation, regulations and market rates
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects
  • Current and valid driver’s licence
