Project Manager

RSG is partnering with a well-established and highly respected restoration and insurance builder to appoint an experienced Project Manager – Major Loss.

This is a mission-critical leadership role responsible for managing large, complex and high-profile insurance claims from initial site attendance through to final completion.

You will be the key link between the client, internal teams and subcontractors — ensuring quality delivery, commercial performance and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale restoration and insurance projects end-to-end
• Prepare scopes of works, schedules and cost plans
• Drive project budgets, margins and cost reporting
• Lead and mentor Supervisors and site teams
• Attend client meetings and build strong stakeholder relationships
• Review estimates, variations and project performance
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and compliance
• Maintain strong OH&S standards across all projects
• Manage subcontractor performance, procurement and invoice approvals
• Contribute to WIP reviews and internal reporting

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing construction or restoration projects
• Strong commercial acumen and budget management capability
• Ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
• Experience working with subcontractors and trade coordination
• Solid understanding of industry rates and construction sequencing
• High attention to detail and documentation
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s licence
• Competent with Microsoft Suite
