Planner

We are seeking an experienced Planner to support the planning and delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure projects. Working closely with project managers and commercial teams, you’ll take ownership of building, tracking, and maintaining construction programs from tender through to completion.

You’ll play a critical role in optimising resources, identifying delays, forecasting risk, and helping the project team stay on track for time and cost performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update project programs using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Monitor progress, assess impacts, and provide mitigation strategies.
• Perform critical path analysis and interface with commercial teams.
• Prepare monthly lookaheads, forecasting reports, and schedule risk reviews.
• Engage with engineers and delivery managers for real-time updates.
• Provide input on tender submissions and staging plans when required.

Skills & Experience

• 3–8 years’ experience in planning/scheduling in the civil infrastructure sector.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
• Solid understanding of delay analysis, risk management, and cost tracking.
• Background working on transport, utilities, or road/bridge projects preferred.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with multidisciplinary teams.
