About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand – Civil Construction to join our team on subdivision and infrastructure projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating crews, plant and subcontractors across drainage, utilities, earthworks and associated civil works. You will work closely with the Site Supervisor and Project Manager to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate plant, labour and materials onsite
  • Supervise subcontractors and suppliers
  • Oversee drainage, utilities, earthworks and general civil works
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate daily site diaries and progress reporting
  • Monitor productivity and assist in delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Lead, mentor and manage site crews to achieve high performance outcomes

Skills and Experience

  • Certificate III in Civil Construction (or equivalent)
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Proven experience as a Leading Hand on civil or subdivision projects
  • Strong experience in drainage, utilities, earthworks and minor civil works
  • Shoring experience highly regarded
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to drive safety, quality and productivity onsite
