Are you an organised, proactive professional looking to step up into a broader business support role? This is a great opportunity to join a growing construction business and provide high-level administrative, people, and operational support across the organisation.

The Opportunity As the Business Services Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Business Services Manager, Construction Managers, Project Managers, and senior leaders. This role operates as a central corporate support function—providing administrative excellence, people and HR coordination, and project administration.

It’s ideal for someone who has strong all-round capability and is ready to grow into a senior business services or operations support role.

Key Responsibilities Business & Executive Support

  • Provide proactive support to senior leaders across the business
  • Assist with diary management, meetings, and internal communication
  • Prepare professional documentation, reports, and correspondence
  • Act as a trusted point of contact between project teams and the Business Services Manager

People & HR Support

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Manage recruitment administration including job ads, interviews, and reference checks
  • Maintain employee records, training compliance, and related documentation
  • Support probation tracking, performance review cycles, and people processes

Project & Operational Support

  • Assist with administration for live projects including registers, document control, and reporting
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and site mobilisation/demobilisation
  • Support procurement including purchase orders, supplier onboarding, and invoice tracking

Corporate Services & Office Operations

  • Support the smooth running of office operations
  • Assist with policies, procedures, and system improvements
  • Coordinate internal events, training sessions, and corporate initiatives
  • Provide centralised support to multiple business units

Skills & Experience Essential

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work with senior leaders and project-based teams
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office

Desirable

  • Experience in construction, engineering, or project-based environments
  • Exposure to HR, onboarding, or people administration
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders
